## Caption

🚴 You always see the cyclists on the Tour de France munching on their fuel rice bar, so why not make a coffee inspired by them!

🍚 This Iced Rice Bar Cortado is super easy to make, and has a unique toasty flavor with a decadent creaminess from the coconut milk. I used @efprocycling rice cake recipe as an inspiration for the ingredients in the cortado and I think it turned out really delicious.

To make the rice simple syrup, steam rice of your choice (different rices will give different notes, I used @lundbergfarms as they’re local), and then take equal parts steamed rice, sugar, and hot water and blend. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, and then strain out with a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth. 

Iced Rice Bar Cortado:

Double Shot Espresso
1 oz. Rice Simple Syrup
2 oz Coconut Milk
Ice

Put ice into a rocks glass, pour in all ingredients, stir and enjoy!
