This small cafe might have the best matcha and waffles in Sacramento!

The Mill (@themillsacramento) was the first cafe I fell in love with in Sacramento and for good reason. From its single origin espresso, yeasted waffles, and cozy aesthetics, it is a perfect neighborhood spot! I recently revisited it and after overhearing the barista talking about the quality of matcha to another customer, I had to try it!

And they weren’t exaggerating, it is one of the best matcha lattes I’ve had in Sacramento - you can taste just high quality of matcha they’re using!
