The NCAA is driving meaningful change to do more for today’s student-athletes. From guaranteed scholarships and mandatory health and well-being services to financial literacy coaching and career development, we’re making sure student-athletes are supported on and off the field.

🏅 What’s New for Division I (Effective Aug. 1, 2024):
✔️ Guaranteed scholarships — no reductions for athletic reasons.
✔️ Degree completion funds — up to 10 years after eligibility ends.
✔️ Mandatory health, safety, and mental health protocols.
✔️ Life skills training, including financial literacy, career prep, and NIL education.
✔️ Post-eligibility insurance for injuries.

With $4 billion in scholarships, millions of young people gain life-changing opportunities — and student-athletes are graduating at record rates while representing America on the world stage.
