St. Mark’s students in Karen Bryant’s mathematics modeling classes are using #math to investigate social justice topics such as student-loan forgiveness, food deserts, and more. 

“This course has challenged me to find the math in everything, from a commute to the grocery store to student loans,” says Luke Hallenbeck ’25. “Not only have I learned and practiced new concepts, but we then applied those new concepts to much larger, real-world problems.”
