“I bought my son his first Crows membership last year so the two of us could go to games together. It’s not always an easy task with a four-year-old… but we both love it. The first couple of games, he was just so interested in Adelaide Oval and the amount of people around. By the end of the season, he was watching more, cheering more, shouting ‘go Crows!’ whenever a goal was scored.

“Next month he’s turning five. The second we asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said a Crows birthday party - a great result for us. Now we’re busy trying to hunt down Crows gear and merchandise and decorating a cake… It’ll be so much fun.

“I started supporting the Crows when I was a young kid. I still remember the 1998 Premiership parade in the city. Now, we’ve got my son hooked and my three-year-old daughter is on the way as well. She’ll get to attend her first game soon. Heading into Adelaide Oval is never just about the football, it’s about the whole experience. We can’t wait for Sunday.”
