⛽️ To save, always get gas from the grocery marts, not off of the speed ways! 
•
👮‍♀️ Some roads are lined with ‘Average Speed Cameras’. The automatic digital cameras  determine your speed by measuring travel time between points. Interesting, huh?

🚙 In the Highlands, many roads are one-way. As you slowly take in the views, use the MANY pull outs and allow locals to pass 😉. 
•
💰 While you can take one-day and multi-day trips with tour agencies, having a car is super ideal! Be sure to book a rental EARLY, as this was one of our biggest expenses and there is a limited supply.
