## Caption

“I was inspired by the level of dedication that the Chambers faculty and programs have toward their students. They make technology and cybersecurity accessible to people from any background, and that's really our mission. Cybersecurity is not just about technology, it's really a business problem at its core; you need people of all kinds of backgrounds in this field. Working at WVU, I really enjoy the camaraderie, and the sense of purpose. Talking with other faculty, getting to work with them, conducting research talking about curriculum changes, and advancing our courses is a lot of fun.

WVU is a really great institution because as large as we are, we can still give individual attention to students and watch them grow and be successful. You don't see that at a lot of universities, either they're extremely small, and you don't get that big student experience, or they're so massive that you're just a number. WVU is that happy medium and I see it when faculty interact one-on-one with students all the time - learning their names, and their life stories. That to me is what keeps me here. I get the most enjoyment out of my job from teaching because it gives me a sense of fulfillment to be able to take all of the technology, cybersecurity, and networking knowledge that I've learned and be able to pass that along to someone else and just expose them to a field that they never have even thought of before.”

- Christopher Ramezan, Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity, Executive Director of Cyber-Resilience Resource Center, Coordinator, MS Business Cybersecurity Programs for the John Chambers College of Business & Economics at West Virginia University. 💛💙
