In a recent address, #AyannaPressley criticized #ElonMusk’s influence within the government, stating, “Elon Musk isn’t elected. He’s a lawless billionaire who breaks everything he touches.” Pressley expressed frustration with billionaires’ pervasive control, emphasizing, “I am so tired of these billionaire boys and their grubby little hands. Grabbing everything—hands off our bodies.” She further accused Musk of embodying dangerous oligarchic tendencies, suggesting his actions prioritize personal gain over public welfare. 

These remarks were made during a rally protesting Musk’s role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a position appointed by #DonaldTrump.  Critics argue that Musk’s initiatives under DOGE, including proposals to privatize public services like the U.S. Postal Service and Amtrak,  could undermine essential public infrastructure.
