Each year, the gorgeous red blossoms are a sign of spring in St. Pete. It’s only in full bloom for a short time each year – so make sure you visit soon!

Planted in 1965 by the MFA’s first director, Rexford Stead, this towering beauty began as a humble three-foot sapling and now stands as a living tribute to the museum’s rich history.
