A desperate elderly man discovers his son has emptied his bank account. After his golddigger girlfriend leaves him, he meets Ming in a chance encounter. Despite recruiting two accomplices for authenticity, the son dismisses their ransom demands as a scam. Their escalating efforts - from voice recordings to videos to livestreaming - take an unexpected turn when the broadcast goes viral. With 200,000 viewers and over $1 million in donations, Uncle Ho transforms from a victim into a social media sensation, with his "kidnappers" becoming his management team.
