## Caption

My theory of politics is you be authentic to yourself, you show up, and you listen.  Yesterday’s visit to Fremont County reinforced that view.  The Republican Party there called on me to quit, but its leaders showed up, listened, raised thoughtful points, and were respectful.  I told them I hope to earn their respect.  That's how democracy works.
