## Caption

This afternoon, Yadira Caraveo, a doctor running for State Representative, and I joined with a large group of engaged citizens to talk to voters and discuss the critical issues facing Colorado.  Candidates like Yadira--and Steve O'Dorisio and Emma Pinter—both rock stars running for Adams County Commissioner--inspire me about how we govern ourselves in Colorado with leaders who work together to get things done on behalf of the people.  To kick things off, we had a rousing talk from Congressman Ed Perlmutter, who joked with Representative Joe Salazar and me about our spirited primary and emphasized the importance of getting out the vote.
