There is nothing quite like enjoying the serenity of being outdoors, on a peaceful river, listening to the sounds of nature around you and casting your line out. Southwest Idaho is the perfect place to do exactly that.

Here are 5 fishing spots throughout SW Idaho that we recommend you visit:

🎣 Crane Falls Reservoir-near Mountain Home- it’s visitor friendly, peaceful and off the beaten path with easy shoreline access. Plus, a great place for wildlife spotting.

🎣 Mann Creek Reservoir-near Weiser- This fishing spot is tucked away in the foothills and is the perfect spot for rainbow trout and smallmouth bass fishing.

🎣 Indian Creek Reservoir-near Kuna- it’s a small and quiet reservoir with great access and stocked trout fishing, this is great for beginners or a relaxing drive by the water.

🎣 Montour Wildlife Management Area-near Emmett- it’s a hidden gem with multiple fishing ponds, stocked with trout and warm-water species.

🎣 Deadwood Reservoir- north of Lowman- the drive is beautiful and scenic and it’s a remote fishing spot with kokanee salmon and trout.
