Happy Match Day! Did you know that  St. Joseph’s has a long history of training physicians? In 1934, it became the first hospital in Arizona to be approved for interns. These young doctors in training were paid $65 a month, plus room and board. With a wide range of residency programs (including creightonphx whose inaugural class of 42 students started at St. Joseph's in 2012), the hospital continues to train the physicians of tomorrow. #stjosephs130th #matchday
