Schmincke offer a few different metallics for artists looking to add a decorative flourish to their artwork - each offering their own unique benefits.

Gold in the Horadam Aquarell range is made with pearlescent pigments and has the same consistency as the rest of the Horadam watercolour range. It has a transparent  finish and is great for adding a soft glow to your work,

Aqua Bronze is made with real metal pigments - not pearlescents - and mixing it 1:1 with water creates a thick, gouache-like paint with an opaque finish.
