Creating our viral boozy affogato but with a sweet banana bread twist☕

Banana Bread Simple Syrup:
Ingredients

* 1 mashed banana (extra ripe)
* 3/4 cup granulated sugar
* 3/4 cup water
* 1 tsp. cinnamon
* pinch of salt
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1 tsp. vanilla extract
* Combine mashed banana, water, granulated sugar, cinnamon and salt in a pot and bring to a boil. (To achieve a smooth syrup, blend mashed banana with the water using an immersion blender before adding the ingredients, or while pot of ingredients are still liquidy and thin)
* Once boiling, reduce heat and whisk in brown sugar and vanilla extract
* Once combined, remove from heat for 5 minutes to thicken.
* Store syrup in a mason jar.

Boozy Banana Bread Espresso Shot

* 3/4 oz. banana bread simple syrup
* 1 oz. coffee liqueur
* 1 double shot espresso brewed on top

Sautéed Bananas:

* In a pan combine 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup brown sugar
* Bring to a boil then reduce heat and add in banana slices
* Stir and flip to ensure bananas are coated in syrup and toasted all around
* Serve on top of any dessert and enjoy!
