The JSerra Athletic Administration is proud to announce that the JSerra Girls Cross Country teams of 2010–12 are the final inductees into the JSerra Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Under the leadership of former head coach Marty Dugard, the Lions became the school’s first perennial powerhouse program. In 2010, they made history as the first girls’ team in school history to win both the Trinity League and CIF-SS titles. Just one week later, they secured their place in JSerra history by winning the Division 4 CIF State Championship at Woodward Park in Fresno—the first state title for any team, boys or girls, in the school's history.

But their dominance didn’t stop there. The Lions continued their historic streak, capturing the same trio of championships in both the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Their unprecedented success set a new standard for JSerra athletics and helped shape the foundation of the school’s thriving cross-country program today.
JSerra Sports Information Director Jason Fields, who covered all three championship teams as the Orange County high school cross country beat writer for the Orange County Register, reflected on their remarkable achievement.

"Those teams enjoyed an extraordinary run of success that was both unprecedented and unparalleled," Fields said. "They were the first girls’ team (and still the only girls team) in Orange County history to win three consecutive state cross country championships. JSerra Catholic High School is honored to recognize these trailblazing athletes and their lasting legacy as they take their rightful place in the JSerra Athletics Hall of Fame.

All three cross country teams will be officially honored at the fifth annual JESPY Awards on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., at JSerra’s Varsity Football Field.
