⚾ Doubleheader Game 1

Senior Pitcher Padgett Wilson put together a dominant pitching performance for a seven-inning complete game. However, the Grizzlies had a great pitching performance of their own against the Raiders lineup without Lee University commit Robert Hicks. The Raiders had a great opportunity to score in the 4th inning following a leadoff double by Junior Isaac Mastin that nearly cleared the right-center field fence. However, the Raiders could not push Mastin across. With the game tied at 0-0 in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Raiders made it happen. Senior Cole Williams reached base on a walk, followed by a hard-hit single by a limping Hicks off the bench. Senior Cooper Bernath followed Hicks with a single to left center to load the bases. Junior Riley Martiny played hero for the Raiders with a 10+ pitch at-bat that resulted in a walk-off walk. Wilson deservingly picked up the win in the 1-0 nail-biter for the Raiders.

⚾ Doubleheader Game 2

The series final started off with a bang after a diving effort by Junior Isaac Mastin at shortstop to save a run in the 1st inning. Creekview, however, kept the pressure on the Raiders with two runs in the 2nd and six runs in the 4th following several mistakes by the Raiders. Senior Marco Nunez tried to get the Raiders going in the 4th with a leadoff double, but the Grizzlies made a great double play on a Bernath lineout to second base to stifle the Raider momentum. After another two runs by the Grizzlies, the Raider offense came alive for a moment. Senior Ethan Collins singled to left, followed by a Bradey Shannon single to right. Collins would score on a passed ball moments later, with Shannon scoring on a throw down to second base. The Raiders would be held to only two runs, making it 10-2. The scoreline would hold there, with the final score being 10-2 in favor of the Grizzlies of Creekview.
