Next up on our #SummerOfRestStops series, we’re headed to the World’s Largest Truck Stop — and vehicles of all kinds are invited!

Iowa 80, located in Walcott, Iowa, is roughly three times the size of your average truck stop, with amenities that go way beyond what you’d expect. In addition to a 60-seat movie theater, you’ll find an on-site dentist, chiropractor, gym, barber shop, trucking museum and even pet-washing stations for furry road trip companions.

With so much to see, you may want to linger and stretch your legs. But if you’re just looking to refuel and get a quick cup of coffee, you’re still in the right place. In fact, Iowa 80 has served up 35 million cups of coffee over the years … so they know their joe.

And since road trippers and truckers run on a constant schedule, Iowa 80 does too. The location has welcomed travelers 24 hours a day, seven days a week continuously since it first opened its doors in 1964. (Don’t worry about their energy bill. Their headquarters are heated and cooled using recycled waste oil from the truck service center.)
