Only a few days left til the big game and if you haven’t finalized your menu yet, don’t overcomplicate it! You only need 4 ingredients to make these easy, cheesy, salty/sweet stuffed dates: Medjool dates, prosciutto, hot honey and RothCheese Creamy Havarti. 

Stuffed dates are one of my favorite appetizers (they’re so easy!!) and over the years, I’ve tried them with many different cheeses. Roth Havarti is my favorite so far – it gets so melty in the center, but forms the best cheesy crust on the bottom, too! 

The cheese aisle can be overwhelming, but you can always trust Roth for the best quality. They have such a great selection of cheeses & spreads that are made in Wisconsin with milk from local farms. 24 medjool dates, pitted 
3 oz Roth Creamy Havarti Cheese, reserve the remaining for snacking
12 slices prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise 
Hot honey for serving 

Preheat the oven to 400˚F. 

Cut a slit in the top of each date and remove the pit. Cut the havarti into small slices that you can fit into the center of each date. 

Stuff the cheese inside the date. (Note: if you over-stuff them, the cheese will mostly ooze out.) Wrap each stuffed date tightly with prosciutto, then place on a baking sheet. 

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the prosciutto is crispy and the cheese is melty. Serve warm drizzled with hot honey. Enjoy!
