Hawaii Food & Wine just wrapped up this past weekend. It is by far and away our favorite event that we participate in and it was an honor to be included again. It was a blast to cook alongside mingtsai, chefchriscosentino, burtbakman, cheftimon & tara.monsod back in Lahaina on the beautiful island of Maui. You should follow hifoodwinefest and make plans to attend one of the 3 weekends next year on the Big Island 10/18, Maui 10/24-26 and Oahu 10/30-11/2. 

Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) is a program of the nonprofit Hawaii Ag and Culinary Alliance. Its mission is to attract national and international attention to Hawaii’s extraordinary culinary talent and its diverse, high-quality locally grown products, to ensure the islands maintain their competitive edge as a world-class destination. HFWF not only shines a spotlight on Hawaii as a culinary destination, but pays it forward through contributions for nonprofit charitable organizations that support local food sustainability and cultural and educational programs.

Repost • melissa808 The hifoodwinefest capped off its weekend in Maui with a sold-out pickleball tournament, followed by a big BBQ at the newly renovated royallahainaresort! chefcolinhazama is a big fan of meatchurch and now I know why! I had, ummm several servings of their burnt ends with pineapple salsa! Same for cheftimon’s grilled oysters with #bacon lol! And despite the lavish Bloody Mary buffet bar, my favorite drink was 808bartender’s sake cocktail featuring metrogrowhawaii’s glacier lettuce! 
Mahalo for an amazing time and I hope this helped to bring more people to Maui!
