💐Still have those Valentine’s flowers? Don’t toss them! 
❤️Those softening petals are about to become your ticket to independent play.
🥰When your kids get their hands on those petals- the ones you usually tell them, “don’t touch!” or “Those are fragile….” they are going to play longer and more independently than with their regular toys. 
**SAVE THIS to do all year round**
➡️Your two year old will probaby splash around, and mush the flowers in their chubby little fists. 
➡️Your three year old might spend time sorting colors or making “soup.”
➡️Your four year old could surprise you with petal patterns or flower store pretend play. 
➡️And your five year old? They might turn those petals into currency for their imaginary flower shop.
➡️Older kids will likely take the whole experience to a new level - they might create elaborate “potions” with specific petal recipes, recording each color combination, etc. 
🙌This is the kind of open-ended play that lets them explore at their own pace, at any age, no instructions needed, and that is what play should be all about!!
