🎓 Fall Commencement is right around the corner, and we could not be more excited to celebrate our incredible graduates! 

Today, we’re kicking off our #OUGrad2024 Fall Spotlight Series with Emma Zemanek!

Emma is a proud member of #OUGrad2024, graduating with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from ouartssciences. Following graduation, she plans to return to her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she will launch her career before eventually pursuing her dream of attending law school.

Reflecting on her time at OU, Emma shared how much she’ll miss the “OU Family.”

"Looking back on when I was applying to the University of Oklahoma, I recall learning about the concept of the 'OU Family.' At first, you think maybe this is a cliché phrase they throw around in attempts to recruit you. However, after spending four years here, I can sincerely say it is the best thing about OU and consequently what I will miss the most from my time here. Everyone from the professors who challenged my initial notions and allowed me to form new opinions to strangers on the first day of school who have become friends I will cherish for the rest of my life. I can not express how thankful I am to have the opportunity to attend this university and the impact it has had on me. Boomer!"

Congratulations, Emma! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next in your journey. ☝️
