## Caption

1973 Seventh Annual National Bass Federation Tournament at Sioux Narrows, Canada. 204 American bassin men competed for a berth to the Bassmaster Classic. 

The tournament was hosted by Ray Scott and bass_nation while Normark Corporation was the presenting sponsor. 

On Day 1 of the 3 Day team tournament, David weighed in 17 lbs of bass, which took the Day 1 lead. He also brought to the scales this 25lb Muskie that was not counted towards his total weight. 

David ended up winning the tournament and qualifying for The Bassmaster Classic.
