Last year, I was on the TOP spot at the FISO OCR World Championships 🏆, but this year, there will be no Costa Rica WC for me❤️‍🩹

I have been struggling with a shoulder injury since April, and after my visit to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center, I finally got a full diagnosis. I have what is called a “SLAP tear” in my left shoulder, which has been the cause of the pain and lack of mobility/strength. Luckly it can be rehabed quite effectively with the right treatment, I just haven’t been taken prober care of it, and now is the time🙏

I need a 4-week rehab period now, which also means I will not be competing in the WC in Costa Rica. It is with great sadness that I say this, but I have a very clear, visualized plan on how to get “back on track” with the support from APC. We will get the injury under control with conservative treatment (which I am responding very well to, by the way!) to ensure the right process for me to return to the best shape possible! 🤘🏼😈🥳🇩🇰
