Families like haneenharara 's have lost nearly everything in Gaza: countless family members, their homes, and almost all creature comforts. Haneen is living in Cairo with her three kids, her grandmother and other family members in a small flat - she has done what she can to spruce it up. And one of the touches is adopting Sukar the kitten. I confess I was smitten with him too. A literal creature comfort.
