Today, we celebrate the Nativity of Mary—the dawn of our salvation. Through her, the Savior of the world was born, bringing light and hope to all.

Alongside Jesus and St. John the Baptist, Mary is one of the few whose birth we commemorate in the Church, and her arrival is lovingly called the "beginning of a better world." On this day, let us honor Mary by seeking her intercession and drawing nearer to her Son.

Mary, Dawn of Salvation, pray for us!
