Fun facts about this movie that was filming during ROLEX24h a few weeks ago. And no. No secrets being given away here. It’s all been publicly acknowledged, or very clearly visible if you have two working eyes. 

1) You can’t pop down to the Porsche dealer and buy this car. This is a track only Porsche 911 GT3R. AND YES. Brad did learn to drive it for the movie. No idea what his lap times were 🤣

2) The ACTUAL drivers racing for Wright Motorsport in the ROLEX24h all wore identical helmets to what Brad Pitt’s character will wear in the movie. Why? So that when they filmed a pitstop, or got footage of the car racing, it will look like Pitt’s character is driving. They also had matching firesuits that said “Hayes” on the back for the same reason. 

3) The *incredible* Wright Motorsport pit crew and mechanics did COUNTLESS pitstops for the film crew. I personally watched them do about 30 full service stops for filming one evening. That means tires, “fuel” and driver change. So when you see the movie, just know these are real mechanics doing real stuff on a real race car.
