public_disco and vancherryblossomfest are teaming up to host the Blossom Block Party 🌸🕺⁠

The free, all-ages party will take place on April 5 at Dunsmuir Patio at Bentall Centre, with all-vinyl DJ sets, family-friendly activities and interactive art in celebration of the city’s beautiful blossoms.⁠

Blossom Block Party will also feature pop-up bars with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, live painting by mural artist Ciele Beau, a colouring station for children, and food and drinks from Funk Coffee Bar and Lee’s Donuts 🍻🍩⁠

The open-air dance party will take place from 2 to 9 p.m., with DJs including Dairy Free, curator of Chinatown’s Bleach Listening Room; Esette, co-founder of the Alberta Electronic Music Conference; Abasi, co-founder of Intimate Productions & Bass Coast Alumni; and Souldoze, the founder of DOZE HIFI.⁠
