Looking to relax and cool down with some Disney magic? After our AlaskaAir’s Mickey’s Toontown Express flight ✈️ we dove right into the Disneyland Hotel pools, including the new Villas pool!

It’s a refreshing playful twist to add to your visit. We usually head to disneyparks for the rides, but this time, we went for some poolside fun first. Only Disneyland Resort hotel guests get pool access - you grab a wristband and towels at the pool deck. And you can enjoy all of them!

Here’s some info on the Disneyland Hotel pools we went to:

-The Villas at Disneyland Hotel’s new pool area, features a cute Steamboat Willie splash pad, a pool, and a relaxing whirlpool spa. We loved that the pool had a mix of both sunlight and shade. 

-Retro-themed pool with 2 cool monorail-themed waterslides, a 2-lane mini slide for the little ones, and a whirlpool spa. The kids moved up to the higher red monorail slide as they grew going here!

If you’re looking for more sun, we noticed The Villas is the sunnier side. And the monorail slides are more shaded in general. Both sides have umbrella loungers and it’s great that there’s seating everywhere. You can relax while keeping an eye on your kids. They’ve got poolside bar service - drinks and eats, including kid-friendly options.

The new Palm Breeze Bar, near the new pool, is open to the public. And The Villas is a new fourth tower of the hotel that is part of the Disney Vacation Club. But, non-members can make hotel reservations too.

The pools are close to the hotels, so you can hop between the parks, the hotel, and hang poolside. This felt like the perfect plan to spend our afternoon at the pools after our fun Alaska flight! #AlaskaPartner #iFlyAlaska #Disneyland
