Everyone in Ontario loves a little trip to the Muskokas, am I right? Known as the province’s cottage country, the area thrives in the summer but in the winter, the sights are just as gorgeous, you just need to bundle up a little! Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail is a must-visit in Bracebridge, offering a good workout with sweeping panoramic views as your reward. 🤩⁠

Oh, and some of the rocks you’ll see along the hike are some of the oldest in the world. Pretty sweet, huh? 🪨⁠

Located in the heart of Muskoka, the trail is about a 2.5-hour drive from Toronto. There's free public parking, but note that the walk from the lot to the trailhead is about 1 km and mostly uphill, so be prepared! 🚗⁠

The 2.5 km loop is suitable for all skill levels, with white ribbons on trees and marks on rocks to guide you. At the top, you'll be treated to stunning views of snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and rolling hills. It's also known for its incredible sunsets, so if you're there in the evening, try to visit on a clear night. 🌅⁠

If there's snow, snowshoes can make the trek easier. Be sure to dress warmly and wear sturdy footwear. ❄️⁠
