Getting excited to hit the trails?
 
Here are a couple of things to do before you go.
 
As the weather gets nicer, we all have the urge to hit the trails to hike, bike, walk our pups & explore. Let’s all do our part in properly preparing ourselves so that each one of us can enjoy our time outdoors.
 
Checklist before you go exploring:
 
🥾- proper shoes for walking, running or hiking.
 
🧢- baseball cap or hat of your choice to protect your head.
 
🕶️- sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun or debris from the trail.
 
🍎- adequate snacks to keep yourself fueled.
 
💦- water for yourself and your pup if you have one.
 
🧴- sunscreen and lip balm to protect your skin while out in the outdoors.
 
🎒- bag to carry all your extra items and make sure it properly fits so you aren’t uncomfortable while out.
I have a whistle on my bag in case of emergency.
 
🐶- water, food, leash, and poop bags for your pup.
 
🧥- jacket or extra layer in case the weather changes.
 
📲- text a friend your location and estimated time you will be gone. Make sure your phone is fully charged before leaving.
