Have you been to sushibyscratchrestaurants? 🍣

Sushi by Scratch is a 17-course omakase experience located in various cities. I was invited to eat at their Seattle location and it did not disappoint 💫

“Omakase” is a Japanese phrase that means “I leave it up to you” aka the customer leaves it up to the chef to select and serve the menu

Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a cocktail and appetizer while everyone arrives to the reservation 🍹 (Pro tip: arrive early for parking bc you don’t want to be like me and hold up dinner trying to look for the restaurant lol)

Once everyone is there, you’ll all enter a small room with a sushi counter that seats up to 10 people. All of the seats are assigned, and you get to see the entire menu. Throughout the dinner experience, you’ll get to watch the chefs make & serve the sushi by scratch. It was so cool to see and hear the ingredients, tools and techniques they use for every item 🔥

I know I said I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite, but I think it has to be a close tie between the Otoro and the Wagyu 👌🏼 stay tuned for my next post to see everything we ate!
