A few months ago I told you all I bought my dream house for less than $1500 / month, but I never told you how. SURPRISE! I’m househacking again!

By buying a house with a rental unit my husband and I are able to turn the (currently) unneeded space in our home into a money making asset with the help of apartmentscom .

Since this is a new rental area for me, I’m taking advantage of the rental manager feature of apartments.com to run a rental comp report. This report gives me a starting point when I’m thinking about how to appropriately price our apartment.
