Have you taught your kids to lineup their door knocking knuckles? 

We have realized this doesn’t work well with kids as it’s somewhat ambiguous. 

Instead, teach them to make an 11. 

This helps them get their hands in a better spot to start the swing and promotes a strong contact position with palm up and palm down.
