i lost myself for a really long time and was struggling in all aspects of my life. deleting my instagram and taking 3 months away from social media really helped me to put things into perspective. social media, whilst positive majority of the time, can be incredibly detrimental and i noticed the impact so i went into action mode. i am so thankful to be where i am now, on the journey to health and happiness, and with that comes a new exploration of style to fit who i have become. i’m enjoying being in front of the camera again, and actually re-falling in love with creating content. 

my biggest lesson at the moment is this; take a note then give a note. i saw it on a ted talk (i can’t for the life of me remember the speaker) but they detailed that when they felt angst, dread or jealousy towards another person you should take note of that feeling. why do i feel something about someone else’s success? why do i feel something about someone else’s joy? dissect and discover the reasoning, and then give a note to that person. praise them and their accomplishments. show them joy for their joy! it’s not your time, and that’s okay. yours will come, so instead of wasting energy on frustrations and anger towards things that are out of your control, focus on what you have autonomy over!
