🗣️🗣️Say it with us! There are about 10,000 rare diseases affecting a total of 400 million+ people around the world. We funded 30 patient-led organizations through an incubator-style program that leverages the power of patients to achieve ambitious scientific goals.

These small but mighty patient-led organizations exceeded expectations on all fronts. In just 3 years, the 30 patient-led organizations we funded to advance rare disease research:

🔬Engaged 3000+ new researchers
🔬Funded, co-authored & contributed data to 182 publications
🔬Collaborated on natural history studies to track disease in real patients
🔬Developed new disease models

We’re continuing to grow this impactful research program, which is now nearly 100 patient-led organizations strong.
