There are over 3 trillion pieces of microplastic in the ocean, but how much is in the air we breath? 

A new study found that the equivalent of 3 million plastic bottles in microplastic fall on Auckland, New Zealand every year. Most of the microplastic collected was not visible to the naked eye. This is interesting  because small plastic pieces called nanoplastics can accumulate inside the human body.
