Portland’s postal workers will join mail carriers nationwide Sunday to protest the Trump administration’s efforts to bring heavy cuts to the U.S. Postal Service.

Members of the National Association of Letter Carriers are gathering to protest federal efforts to severely slash the postal service’s workforce and restructure the agency. Portland’s letter carriers will take to Pioneer Courthouse Square at 1 p.m., according to the association’s website.
