I was part of artpopstreetgallery second year and I saw firsthand how it transforms artist careers, including my own. It creates real opportunities, giving creative visibility and a platform to thrive. Now Charlotte risks losing that. Without Art Pop we edge closer to a bland, beige future where creativity fades, and opportunities vanish. Charlotte has always been a city where Artists rise, ideas take shape, and public art thrives. If we don't act down, we risk creative neutrality.

Funding for the arts is at a critical low. Without immediate support, ArtPop Street Gallery will be forced to close, and many others will follow.
To shine a light on this crisis, they've launched “Beige”—a bold yet bleak awareness campaign in collaboration with the anonymous collective GHOST, Adams Outdoor, and Awedience Media. Starting March 18, digital billboards across Charlotte will turn into stark reminders of what happens when the arts vanish.
