🥳 What a fun two days it has been!

Participants in the IPT (Instructional Practices for Teachers of Students with Significant Disabilities) Content Teaching Academy had a great time exploring this years thematic unit: Solar System! 🪐☄️🛸🧑‍🚀 @vdoe_news

🚀Check out some of the highlights from Day 1 including the opening session about why thematic units are so impactful, the science session with lots of hands on activities, and some of the AT that the AT Network had on display around the room to give ideas on some tools to help adapt the activities!

😍 Participants loved the @merge cubes and the @makeymakey exploration!

What a great day 🤩 Keep an eye out for more highlights in the next few days 🥳

There are pictures of a full room of people answering questions holding up whiteboards, a pan of a table full of AT tools, videos of merry cube demonstrations with an interactive solar system on an iPad, a makey makey homemade switch with a solar system hooked up to a computer, and some adapted holders for hand held magnets and markers!
