80% of educators indicate that burnout is a serious problem.

What makes teachers burn out? More work and less time to do it in. With collective bargaining, we will have a direct say in our working conditions, staffing, and curriculum. 

VEA is currently working with and supporting locals across the state to win collective bargaining in their region. The more collectively bargained locals in Virginia, the more rights we have to make changes across the state, including our pay.

🗣 Collective Bargaining is the ability and legal right of employees to sit down with their employer and negotiate the terms and conditions of their contracts/employment.
