Pointe du Hoc // Normandy, France

I wanted to share some more of my photos from the 75th anniversary of D-Day in 2019 over the next few days leading up to the 80th anniversary. It was the trip of a lifetime touring the Normandy beaches and going to the museums, seeing the battle sites with my own eyes, and the remains of the war still there today. Bunkers, barbed wire, divits in the ground where bombs hit. And the French countryside is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It was like a storybook. Can’t believe it’s already been 5 years since!
