For just two weeks in late February, Yosemite’s Horsetail Fall transforms into a glowing stream of fire. 🧡 With the perfect mix of clear skies, snowmelt, and the sun’s angle, the water catches the light just before sunset, turning El Capitan’s edge into a molten spectacle. 🏞️ 💦 First stumbled upon in 1973, it’s now a must-see natural wonder. 

Here’s what you need to know to witness this rare natural phenomenon:

📅 Best Time to See It: Mid-to-late February, just before sunset. Sometimes, it can also occur in October, but that’s less common.
☀️ Why It Happens: The sun’s angle lines up perfectly, illuminating the waterfall in a fiery glow.
❄️ Water Flow is Key: A good winter snowfall is needed so that melting snow feeds the fall.
