Hidden in the foothills of the Patkai Ranges, these royal burial mounds date back to the 13th century, honoring the Tai-Ahom dynasty’s rich history and spiritual traditions. 🌿🏛️ Known as “homes-for-spirit,” these 90 sacred mounds showcase intricate designs that fuse nature with Tai-Ahom architecture. Spanning 600 years, the Moidams stand as a testament to ancient rituals like ancestor worship and Tarpan, still practiced today. 🌄 An extraordinary glimpse into Assam’s past and present!
