i think the best way to learn in this field of work is by getting thrown into the fire and by watching and doing. i was literally thrown into these two shoots when i first started. we were shooting our game day board features for the 2023-24 season mid-summer because working in sports, thinking what comes next never stops. so even if the season may be over, it’s time to plan for the next season. even though i was mainly used as a production assistant for these shoots, just by observing i learned A LOT. from lighting, angles to shoot, sound proofing, etc.
