Meet the options trader & sports card collector who's NEVER sold a single card

John Lapertosa is a Options Trader by Day and a Sports Card Collector by Night. The Multi-Generational Collector's love for sports cards began as a kid in Queens, fueled by an unforgettable encounter with Mickey Mantle. From riding his bike to the local card shop as a young collector to building a meticulously curated collection today, his passion for the hobby has never wavered.

With a background in finance, John approaches collecting with a sharp eye—yet for him, it’s always been about more than just value. Every card tells a story, every pack holds a memory. Now, he shares that love with his two sons, making collecting a true family tradition.

Join us as we dive into John’s journey—his favorite cards, his approach to collecting, and the community that makes the hobby so special
