Are you looking for a new garden project?

Build an IBC tote compost bin! 

For this project, you'll need the external crate from an IBC tote and a pallet. Check with local businesses to see if you can buy either of these (they might even let you have them for free).

Wrap the external crate with chicken wire to create a container with great airflow.  Prepare a flat site for your bin, place your pallet as a base, and plop your new compost bin on top! 

Remember to alternate layers of greens and browns and to chop food waste and other materials into smaller pieces to speed up the composting process.
