I can’t believe it!!! It’s finally happened, our Washington Nationals have won the World Series! I remember watching my first game back in 2011 the year before Harper showed up and was instantly hooked. From then on we’ve been through the lowest of lows and the highest of highs and I seriously thought after Harper left it was going to be a down year, but man oh man was it quite the opposite. We started hot right at the beginning then all of a sudden we were 19-31 and down for the count, but we always stayed in the fight. By the end of the year Soto hit his way past the Brewers in the Wild Card game, Howie smacked the grand slam to send the dodgers packing in the NLDS which after that we swept the Cardinals in 4 games to have the most historic post season run in history beating the Houston Astros at home in every road game. Never once did they stand down and give in. These memories this past month are ones that’ll last a life time. Shout out to the fam for the incredible seats all year and I can’t wait for what’s to come in the future, cause as always long roads lead to beautiful destinations and today was that beautiful destination.
