When I was shuffling through photos that I had taken in the last couple of years, I had realized how much my own creative editing style had changed. Swipe to see my original edit from 2023 at the very end! 

I wanted to see how much I’ve changed over just two years, so I got to work on one of my favorite sets I’ve ever taken with eva.of.thrace at my first westcoast.creatives meet. 

This was only my second photo meet, and I was already nervous enough because I’m super introverted. Eva was kind enough to pose for me after I had asked and was so patient while I set up my light. YES, that’s right folks, Erik did not hold this light for me! He was too busy filming 😅

The sun was perfect, and everything just clicked. Truly one of my favorite sets I’ve ever done, even years later. Thank you Eva for being sooooo wonderful! 

This is the reason why I WILL ALWAYS ROOT FOR THE 135mm GM. The quality of this lens is my absolute FAVORITE and as much as I love my 85 or 50 this lens has my heart. I don’t bring it much because of the distance because I’m like a football field away lol. Far, but oh so worth it. 

Erik - please stop stealing this lens for video. Thanks!!! 😂😂😂😂

Maybe this year I’ll go through some oldies and re-edit for fun. Nothing wrong with reflection. It’s a a reminder of how much I’ve come on my own journey. 😁
